Grace Period Voting

ELECTION NOTICE

MARCH 17, 2026 GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION

GRACE PERIOD REGISTRATION & VOTING HOURS

The first day for grace period registration and voting at the office of the election authority will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026 through Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 301 River Park Drive, Suite 300, East St. Louis, Illinois.  It should be noted that all Polling Places in the City of East St. Louis will have grace period registration and voting on Election Day from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Grace period registration and voting allow those individuals who failed to register or change their address by Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

In addition, extended grace period registration and voting will be held during the following weekend hours:

 

  • Saturday, February 21, 2026 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 28, 2026 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 7, 2026 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 14, 2026 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 

NOTE:  All voters in the City of East St. Louis can vote on Election Day at the East St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners Office located at 301 River Park Drive, Suite 300, East St. Louis, Illinois during polling place hours (6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), regardless of the precinct in which they are registered.
